How it works - What we do
Laughter sessions typically start with gentle warm-up techniques. These include stretching, chanting, clapping and movement, followed by a series of laughter exercises, interspersed with breathing exercises.
We then go into a period of sustained laughter where we laugh for as long as we can without stopping.
The session is rounded off with a quiet time where we relax in silence to ground ourselves and give the laughter a chance to be absorbed into the body.
After each session, it is usual for some participants to go to a nearby café for coffee or lunch.
Everybody is welcome.
